Hi all,

I looked around where it drops and got conflicting reports.
So I am curious where any of you have found it.

Chambers, smuggler ships or both?

Decius himself confirmed back in 2016 that The Pretender must be sunk in order to receive the pet:

I have farmed many times over the years, using several different pirates, alone and in groups. I have sunk The Pretender several hundred times, and have never received the pet.

Chambers only and only if you sink (not board) his ship the Pretender.
