collecting wood from Banditoad Ships

I am supposed to be collecting wood from the Banditoad Ships in Cooper's Roost Skyway. I have defeated at least 20. and still have not collected any. I must be doing something wrong. Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

Are you sure it doesn't say Santo Pollo Skyway? Check to see if you get a message "DID NOT COLLECT" to make sure you are attacking the right Banditoads.
