Passive ideas

So I was thinking if we have epics and talents why not add a 3rd kind of stat called passives (maybe only have them added after arc one so the meta wouldn't be changed so drastically). You wouldn't get them as often as talents but not as uncommon as epics. Maybe get one every ten levels?


Swordmaster - (25% chance) attack 3 times at half damage each (other epics can chain off of each one)
Swordmaster 2 - (25% chance) attack 4 times at half damage each (other epics can chain off of each one)
Swordmaster 3 - (40% chance) attack 5 times at half damage each (other epics can chain off of each one)

Poisoned blade - (once per turn) when you attack an enemy add poison for 2 turns
Poisoned blade 2 - (three times per turn) when you attack an enemy add poison for 2 turns
Poisoned blade 3 - (three times per turn) when you attack an enemy add poison for 3 turns as well as curse for 3 turns.

Captain's guard - Any companion within a 2 tile radius of you gain 25% attack boost and 25% armor boost

Captain's guard 2 - Any companion within a 2 tile radius of you gain 25% attack and spooky boost and 25% armor and resistance boost

Captain's guard 3 - Any companion within a 3 tile radius of you gain 25% attack and spooky boost and 25% armor and resistance boost

Captain's Chorus - when an enemy is defeated everyone in a 2 tile radius of you is given bonus epics for 2 turns

Captain's Chorus 2- when an enemy is defeated everyone in a 2 tile radius of you is given bonus epics for 3 turns

Captain's Chorus 1- when an enemy is defeated everyone in a 3 tile radius of you is given bonus epics for 3 turns


Paralyzing strikes - (50% chance) When you attack an enemy paralyze them for 2 turns.
Paralyzing strikes 2 - (100% chance) When you attack an enemy paralyze them for 2 turns.
Paralyzing strikes 3 - (100% chance) When you attack an enemy paralyze them for 2 turns and give them 50% reduced accuracy for 3 turns.

Fear 1- when attacked have a 25% chance to teleport the attacked back to where they were two turns ago
Fear 2- when attacked have a 50% chance to teleport the attacked back to where they were two turns ago
Fear 3- when attacked have a 60% chance to teleport the attacked back to where they were three turns
ago.

Re-cast - 25% chance to recast a spell at 50% damage
Re-cast 2 - 50% chance to recast a spell at 50% damage
Re-cast 3 - 50% chance to recast a spell at 100% damage

Overprotection - (25% chance) when an enemy approaches cast hail of cannonballs
Overprotection 2 - (50% chance) when an enemy approaches cast hail of cannonballs
Overprotection 3 - (50% chance) when an enemy approaches cast tempest of torpedoes

Longshot - for every one tile away from an enemy you are you deal an extra 15 damage. (does not work with sniper shot)

Longshot 2- for every one tile away from an enemy you are you deal an extra 20 damage. (does work with sniper shot)

Longshot 3 - for every one tile away from an enemy you are you deal an extra 30 damage. (does work with sniper shot)
