Game freezes after hatching

hello ^-^ after hatching a pet with a friend my game ended up getting stuck in the loading screen and it wouldn't move for about 10 minutes so I just closed the game window and restarted the launcher

Next time try pressing the Escape Key. This will usually send you back to the Pirate Selection Screen and you can continue your adventure in the Spiral from there. I've also had the same problem after hatching a pet.

I have the same problem too, except after morphing, but I get stuck in this black void after the loading screen. I can still move my pirate, but that is all I can do. I end up having to go to character selection to get out of this void of darkness. I have no idea why this keeps happening and I hope a moderator can explain the reason of this.
