OH MY GOSH THERE ARE TOO MANY TO SAY!!!! Hmm... 'sayings' or 'quotes'? I've got several quotes (one of my favorites being one that Anne recently shared with me), but some of my favorite 'quotes' are from The Dalai Lama and Buddha. And then there are all of the excellent quotes that famous people have said over the centuries such as "Let them eat cake!" (another awesome one) and "A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."... but I think my personal favorite is "The world is not the most pleasant place. Eventually your parents leave you and nobody is going to go out of their way to protect you unconditionally. You need to learn to stand up for yourself and what you believe and, sometimes, kick some butt." Although I don't believe that all parents leave their children (I know mine won't leave me ), I love this message because it's saying 'Nobody is going to fight all of your fights, so get out there and stand up for yourself and what you believe is right.'
