stitching weapons

I was thinking that stitching is one of my favorite things from w101. i know it would be cool to stitch clothes, but i would want to stitch my weapons too! how this could work is by taking a weapon type, (ex, stabby) and stitching it with another weapon of the exact same type. type combination items, such as slashy/shooty could only be stitched with other slashy/shooty weapons.
