I am happy to say, Blixet, that I observed a post by Blind Mew on Pirate101 Central today (1/14). It, like all his posts, is well worth the reading.

Personally, I was also relieved. Blind Mew is certainly very busy, but I couldn't help but be concerned, hoping that long silence was not due to illness. Of course, while Blind Mew has delightfully teased and enlightened us (or not), it has come to the point where often he was asked to answer questions that have been already answered several times... as well as the inevitable questions that he has said firmly he cannot answer.

I think also there are going to be blocks of time where KI employees are going to be more active on the message boards, and some times less. Ratbeard was more active on the boards concerning the Tower of Winter's Fury, a very combat-heavy section of story, and has made a number of posts concerning the new scrip system. (And how I love Ratbeard's whimsical, often snarky posts! They often make me laugh out loud). With a number of new hybrids up, Decius has been very active, often giving playful, head-scratching hints and being teasingly encouraging. I do miss posts from One-Eyed Jack, but I know he and Bonnie Anne are busy juggling both Pirate101 and Wizard101, and nobody can be everywhere at once.

So it seems to me that the KI employees continue to connect with their players faithfully, something we all really do appreciate.

It sounds like he's put his life into these books, and I believe him. Keep your hopes up, mate. The new updates are coming, but only the KI staff know when. What a fantastic idea. How about we all (well those with sloths) in order to show our appreciation to all the developers, use our sloths the first day to show that we slow down to appreciate all the hard work they have been slaving away at just for our enjoyment.
