Thank you KI for Christmas in July! Couldn't sleep so I logged on about 2:00AM and was virtually alone in Skull Island so I spent about 20 minutes making the rounds, hitting all of the nearby gift spawn points. In those 20 minutes I think I got enough 7-day mounts to last me for about 2 years! And the pets!!! Woohoo!! I don't know if any of these are new pets but they're certainly new to me. Festive Yule Groupers, Paper Dragons, Toads and Crabs galore. Oh, and the snacks are GREAT!

Yes, I hardily (not hardly!!) agree with you, thy Wizard from Tucson.

My pets haven't been this happy in a long time. It has been absolutely fantastic seeing the Bazaar stocked once again with pet snacks and pet gear. For months now --leading up to this Christmas in July event-- the Bazaar has been pretty barren when it has come to finding supplies for your faithful critters. Those CiJ event boxes have really helped with restocking the Bazaar and my pirates' inventories. And I too have received a few dozen mounts (spread across 6 pirates) and I'm excited to go prancin' around on them....prancin' in a pirate-y way of course-- ARRRRRGGHHH!!!

The eggs from the boxes have been wonderful as well. So far I've gotten multiples, of these varieties: the Snow Lionfish, Paper Chain Snake, Festive Demitrosaur, Yuletide Banded Iguana and the Yuletide Shark. And of course...the gold doesn't hurt either.

But the best part about all of the holly jolly Christmas in July stuff, has been the excitement my twin 2-year olds have exhibited when they get to sit on my lap and run around opening presents! "Daddy, daddy...I pwess X. I got it..I do it, daddy. I get the pwesents!" I don't know how many times this weekend my kids have asked me to "please, open pwesents...maybe we get Olaf again!" Yes, the snowman housing items are a favorite, along with the toy train sets and the mounts. My little boy especially loves it and he loves when I say "HOLY MOLY!! 75 GOLD PIECES!!! Good job buddy!" I get the biggest high-five after every present opened. Of course, I'm not as efficient at opening presents as some may be, since they are followed by the high-fives and then the opening of the backpack to view all of the fun "Ho Ho pwesents". And yes, they do think all of the loading screens with ol' Boochie are pictures of Ho Ho, (that's what they call Santa Clause). Little do they know his real name is Santa Beard!

So yes, thank you KI for all of the excitement this weekend....and the pwesents!!!

Doh! All the pets I received and not one of them a Lionfish. Ah well. But I must say I'm happy so far with the training of my various Paper Dragons and my Yuletide Crawler is proving to be pretty good too. Several "Grants" talents on some of these pets so I see much morphing in my future.
