I like challenges, and that's one of the reasons why I liked Cool Ranch, was because it pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to adapt. If we make the game too much of a pushover, then would people actually enjoy it? What about after Book 11 (when I think the nerfing stops)? Or what about Book 15? How would players learn to adjust to difficulty if everything they've played has been so easy? They're in for a real shock once they get to Valencia pt. 2...
