I was fixing to make a post similar to this. I fully agree. Not exactly like placing your companions in your house and leaving them there while you go sailing around the spiral without them, but more or less like a copy of them, and being able to place them standing (or walking, running, sleeping, etc.) somewhere in or outside your house. It can be something like how they stand around a big table in a Tavern's cellar, except you can place them wherever you want!
