So, I decided to make a new pirate to check the new beginning sequence.

I love Perdition's Gate. Looking down through the holes in the deck and seeing how far down it goes...that is very cool.

Giving Corsair's Cove a facelift. Very nice. Looks like there are places there for future adventures.

But...but...I miss both the Crimson Pirate "Oh, I'm sorry...Ye don't care!"

And Young Nick?? I wanted him on my crew he was so cute!

Oh, they are still on Bloody Shoals, to be sure, but my guess is that's just for pirates who happen to stop in the middle of a mission.
