Skyways are Stormgates?

In both Port Regal Skyway and Hamaitsu Skyway, the map says Stormgate to Skull Island. Its kinda weird because I don't think Stormgates can be large enough to engulf skyways, and because Port Regal is in Skull Island so it doesn't make sense (A Stormgate to Skull Island in Skull Island?)
