Friar sand farming

I don't believe there is anything to fix. Friar Sand's Unyielding Hirigana can be used by any Pirate with the talent Big Choppy Weapon (Rank 1) - you just have to spend the Practice Point to get it (assuming you are not a Buccaneer who would get that talent for free) and be at least level 45+.

You could create a Buccaneer and level him up to level 45 or more. Then that Pirate could use it. (You can have a total of 6 different Pirates on any account.)

Otherwise, sell it at a shop for 270 Gold.

Have you trained smashy weapons? If you haven't then you won't be able to use it. This isn't a bug its a weapons restriction. Possibly you need smashy weapons 2 to use.
