Death steals buffs

I've just noticed, when you die in pvp or pve, and then you revive yourself with a Bonnie anne's heal or something, all your buffs (critical buff, levy call, valor's fortress, accuracy dodge buff) are gone and it's like you're defenseless and weak. This is really unfair as in pvp it's so easy to be killed right after you heal yourself with bonnie. It makes things so frustrating to see you've wasted a turn not attacking, healing yourself only to see even more health lost from a double tap off your vulnerable pirate. And it must be a bug, since when you scroll over your revived pirate, it says that all the buffs you had before are still there. The only up-side is that all debuffs (reduce dodge, bleeding, cursed etc) are gone too, but this still is no substitute for the loss of defense/buffs.

Well a heal after a bobblehead session is like a do-over and having to rebuff is IMO a fair exchange for that second chance. The only option I would agree on is if you are re-healed from a knock out punch in the same round, then your buffs should stay. Since you had the heal slotted when the knock out happened, there should be some grace given.

If there is a bug, it would be the mouse-over indicating you still have your buffs after defeat.

Almost every game in existence strips your spells/buffs after death/defeat. It is part of the price in getting defeated and all the more reason to prevent it from happening in the first place.

However, i find it unfair that you're a sitting duck as soon as you revive yourself, with no shields, you can't do anything. If you are lucky enough to survive, you'd have around next to nothing health. And the mouse-over is almost mocking you, showing what you used to have. I think it is a bug because they should either remove the indacition of your buffs or give you your buffs.
