The end of Cool Ranch is haunted by a shadowy figure, the most imposing of all time...DEACON.
Level 34. Over 1,900 HP. But...everyone has a chance against the spymaster of your worst enemies.

During the beginning of the fight, Deacon shields himself with an incredible amount of blockades. Several Armada troops, barrels, and cracks in the floor! Here are some suitable strategies for going through:

Musketeer: Place high-level traps for Deacon's troops, which should reduce their health a bit.

Privateer: Increase your companions' stats for the task at hand.

Buccaneer: Pass. Or use the cannon.

Swashbuckler: Jump over the barrels and dispose of the Armada troops.

Witchdoctor: Teleport to Deacon, then attack him there.

But watch out! If you get too close, Deacon can either:

Fire a barrage or

Summon a blockade of officers around him.

If this happens:

Musketeer: Go for the officers.

Privateer: Use your Barrage to strike the officers.

Buccaneer: Increase your defense stat. Those officers will be shooting you ALOT.

Swashbuckler: Use Walk In Shadows/Darkness to sneak over to the officers, then use a powerful attack.

Witchdoctor: Use Jobu's Kiss or Evil Eye to strike the officers in a row/square.

All classes: Get Martin Valvida to do the same as above.

After you get rid of the officers (This may take some time because the officers have a lot of health), send your team after Deacon before he can set up another blockade. Also, here's another secret about this battle!

Don't strike the barrels, and don't let the Armada get them either! If you wait enough turns, out pops Skeletal Warriors on the spaces where the barrels are to do your bidding! (They're allies, not companions)

And, defeating Deacon may take some time too. He sends countless barrages after the people in front of him. After you have finally taken him down, you can collect the chests. You get more loot depending on how much troops he summoned.
