I just turned Lvl 65 and unlocked the Team Epic. If I get the Team Epic now, will all of my future Companions recieve the Epic as well? or is it just for the current companions?

I was a little confused about this. I decided to get it anyways, and now I know it's just a Power to use in Battle. I thought it would give all of my Bucks, Swash, and Privs Repel Boarders. Lol....
