Do you mean he has improved mojo blast and mojo echo? If you are standing in diagonal boxes with your crew he can hit more than one of you at a time, he hits with a checkerboard pattern. Make him only hit one person by standing next to (vertical or horizontal) crew or spread out to make sure he only can hit one of you. He still can echo to hit again, but if you bring some musketeers and have them stand back to hit, you can wear him down.
