Battle of SkulI lsand still on?

I am curious if this is a bug or not but every time I created a new character to try out the different classes and then completed the Skull Mountain quests there is still cannon fire by the wooded bridge. I checked on my Witchdoctor character and there is no cannon fire still.

These new characters were created after the changes were made to the 'Troggery Artillery' quest.
