New Game Update: The All-Time Heist!

The race to El Dorado is back on after the reveal of a new rival in Krokotopia. Pirates, it's time to return to Valencia and confront a familiar foe and finish what they started. Arrrr ye up to the task, Mateys?

Here's what you can expect to see in this new update:

New Main Questline

Talk to Bonnie Anne in Flotsam to continue your adventure, where familiar friends and new faces await.

Level Cap Increase

The max level for players has increased to level 75! Players, companions, and pets can now gain 5 additional levels. With this increase in level comes new rewards including:

• 3 New Powers/Talents per class: Talk to your trainers in Skull Island as you level up to add these new tools to your Pirate’s repertoire.
• 1 Additional Epic Talent for companions at level 75.

New Storyline Companion

You won't be expected to face these challenges alone. During your adventure, you'll recruit a new companion who packs a lot of punch into a small package.

Experience

Experience has been added to all mainline content post Valencia part 2. This includes:

• Prologue Parts 1-3 (Sinbad Chapters 1-3)
• Through Death’s Door (Tartarus)
• The Enemy Revealed (Zigazag)

New Badges

Take on specific challenges to earn brand-new badges that pack a serious XP boost. These rewards are especially helpful for those who completed Sinbad, Zigzag, and Tartarus before experience was added to those areas.

Miscellaneous

• Existing packs and crown shop items have been updated to now include a level 75 tier
• Spirit Sight now works with Shooty/Staffy Weapons.
• Quest Granted Privateer Weapons are now able to scale based on Will or Strength.
• The Raiding Tackle weapon can additionally scale with Will
• Several animation fixes to prior companions
• Catbeard’s final promotion stats are improved from his prior promotion as intended
• Lucy Sterlings strength and agility have been bought closer together and will allow players to determine which stat she utilizes depending on her talent selections
• Dispel Magic has been added to the clandestine trainer Kurotadori
• Buccaneer, Swashbuckler and Musketeer Companions now also have the option of training the Spooky talent
• Zigazag dialogue now refers to the correct windstone

Patch Notes: October 2nd, 2025

• Nadya's title has been changed to Mustang Fortune-Teller
• The Mask of Death color has been changed to lime green and olive
• Fixed an issue where level 75 players were not receiving proper drops in the Aggrobah Job gauntlet
• Fixed an issue where players could prematurely earn boss and guard badge progress in Trianon Palace
• Fixed an issue where some players could not interact with the sewer grate to enter Basil's Grate Sewers during the Sinbad Part 3 questline
• Fixed an issue where the quest arrow did not guide players downstairs to locate Mayor Nancy
• Fixed an issue where a second instance of Dewey could be pulled into fights
• Adjusted Hold the Line and Repel Boarders order on protective gear to resolve in the intended sequence for better effectiveness
• Fixed an issue in Trianon Palace where players could be pulled through a locked gate during nearby fights
• Fixed an issue where the sigil for the Cave of the Furstrygoneans was unavailable after completing the related quest

• Resolved an issue affecting a handful of players who were stuck in a bad state due to a bugged item
• Fixed the lower than expected drop rates for gear in the Aggrobah Job gauntlet
• The powers have been added to the gear from The Creepy Tea Party Pack

Here's what you can expect to see in this new update:

El Toro Promotion

El Toro’s journey continues as he seeks to further enhance his swordplay. To do this, he must seek out the most famous Duelmaster in the Spiral! But are things quite what they seem? The El Toro promo quest features the following:

• Pirates with El Toro at level 75 or higher who have completed the quest “Return to Valencia!” - Talk to him in the nearest tavern cellar.
• A return to traditional promotions- El Toro’s promo quest is a return to form featuring a unique questline that will lead our Masked Champion to new heights.
• Reworked Tier 1 and Tier 2 versions- In addition to his promotion tier, El Toro’s previous tiers have also been enhanced.

Mustang Sally

• Surprise Pirate- you didn’t think El Toro would be enhanced without his partner in heroism, did you? Mustang Sally has been reworked to enhance her abilities in intrigue and espionage. El Toro better keep up; Mustang Sally can prove a valuable partner or a fierce rival.

Miscellaneous

• Obsidian English Bill’s gear stats has been upgraded to the correct level
• Whitelist additions
• Small animation fixes
